Located in Eagan, Companion Animal Hospital offers pet boarding for cats and dogs so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're gone. We know the importance of finding the perfect boarding facility. We provide a comfortable and friendly home away from home for your companion.
Dogs enjoy spacious indoor runs with insulated flooring and raised resting cots. They are exercised in our half-acre yard at least four times per day. In addition, we offer playtime with staff and compatible dogs in our indoor or outdoor play yard. Additional services include giving pets medications, insulin, and added playtime.
Daycare is available for dogs and puppies from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday.

Dog Boarding
- Dog in run - $46.00 per day
- Second dog in the same run - $36.00 per day
- Puppy Boarding (<6 mo) extra playtimes included - $53.00 per day

- Out alone fee is $5.00 additional per day
Dog Daycare

Cat Boarding
- General - $30 per day
- Cat condo - $36.00 per day
- Boarding for a second cat in the same condo is $19.00 per day

Our Boarding Requirements
- Dogs must be current on their Canine Distemper and Parvo (DHPP), Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines.
- Cats must be current on their distemper (FVRCP) and rabies vaccines
- All boarders must provide proof that they are free from parasites – internal or external.
- We require a 2-night minimum stay and pre-payment of 2 days to hold your reservation for the following holidays and busy times: Christmas through New Year’s Day, District 196 spring break in March, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend and October teacher MEA break. If you cancel up to 3 days prior we will credit your deposit to your account to be used toward future services. These times are very busy - be sure to make your plans in advance to ensure a spot.
- You must pick up and drop off during office hours Monday through Friday - 8 am to 6 pm, or Saturday 8 am - 12 pm. These times may change during holidays. Even though the office is closed Saturday afternoon and Sunday, we offer Saturday and Sunday night pickup at 6:30. Our kennel staff will help you at the north door.
- If you pick up your pet before 11 am Monday through Saturday, you will not be charged for that day.
- There is an additional "out-alone fee" for dogs that can not go out in groups.
- Un-neutered males older than 1 year can not attend daycare and will charged an additional "out alone fee" when boarding.
- We provide premium food but encourage owners to bring their pet’s food.
- We have everything your pet needs for a comfortable stay with us, including off the ground cots. You can bring personal items for your pet if you feel they are needed, but please limit them. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
